The Following Message From Rina Was Inside The Card:

In honour of this joyful occasion, all quilt participants plus Deppendent contributed to the purchase of a “bedkit” through Sleeping Children Around the World (www.scaw.org).  This bedkit will consist of  mattress, blanket, pillow, towel, soap, clothes and school supplies, and will be given to a child in a third world county affected by the Tsunami.   

Alan, GemKat and Tess also generously purchased bedkits independently, in honour of your family—please see enclosed cards.  Rina will mail the  photographs of the children with their bedkits to you in the fall.
